Father’s Day Race to End Polio 5K Run/Walk

PARKERSBURG — The Rotary Club of Parkersburg will hold its first Father’s Day Race to End Polio 5K Run/Walk at 9 a.m. Saturday on the Parkersburg Ohio River Trail at Point Park in downtown Parkersburg.

Registration is $35 per person if done before 11:59 p.m. Friday and $40 per person on the day of the race.

It will be the first 5K held on the new walking path at Point Park. Awards will be given to the top three overall Male and top three overall Female participants in the Run and Walk Divisions. Age group awards are given to the top two. The first 115 registrations will get a T-shirt. Members of the River City Runners and Walkers Club will receive a 5% discount that will be automatically applied during checkout.
