PARKERSBURG — More than 1,000 donors had helped the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation raise nearly $338,000 for Give Local MOV as of 7 p.m. Tuesday, with five hours left to go before the program ended.

The 24-hour online giving campaign supports 67 nonprofit organizations, with matching funds and prizes available to help donors’ contributions go further.

“We are very thankful to the sponsors and donors across our region who have already contributed and to those who continue to step forward to support our community,” Julie Posey, PACF’s senior development and stewardship officer, said in a news release Tuesday afternoon. “It is so exciting to see our community come together to support each other.”
