PARKERSBURG — The Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department will host the WVU Eye Institute’s Appalachian Vision Outreach Program, offering free eye exams on May 22-23 at their new offices at St. Joseph Landing, 1824 Murdoch Ave., Parkersburg.

Prescription glasses can be ordered at the exam. Costs are $25-55, depending on the qualifying tier. An appointment is necessary and can be made by calling 681-507-5531, 304-643-2917 or 304-275-3131.

Community partners WIC, The Health Plan and Aetna will also be set up at the event.

The Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department serves Wood, Wirt, Calhoun, Pleasants, Ritchie and Roane counties.
