MARIETTA — The tenth BrAva Mom Prom, hosted by the Mid-Ohio Valley’s childhood cancer awareness and funding organization BrAva Fight, will take place April 18, 2025, at the Washington County Multipurpose Building in Marietta.

Tickets for the event go on sale on Eventbrite on March 2 at 7 p.m. EST.

“We are so pleased to announce the amazing support of the The Fraternal of Eagles #3665 in Beverly, Ohio, who, for the second year in a row, will serve as our BrAva Mom Prom Gold Sponsor,” said BrAva President Traci Nichols. “Its generous donation of $20,000 should cover the bulk of the overhead to produce this year’s event, meaning we’ll be able to donate nearly all of our profits to the cause.”

Tickets for the event, a charity fundraiser that seeks the support of women age 21 and over (moms and non-moms) to raise funds for childhood cancer, are $50. There will be a one-ticket-per-transaction limit. Attendees should be ready to enter first and last name, phone number,

email, and age. Admission tickets will be the only ticket type for sale on March 2. Guests may purchase raffle tickets and luminaries beginning March 9.

The event will feature a deejay, a coronation honoring mothers whose children have battled childhood cancer, a raffle, and food and drink from local vendors.

Other major sponsors for the 2024 BrAva Mom Prom so far include Amy’s Flower Shoppe, Astorg Auto, Haas, Kesterson Cleaners & Launderers, Little Bee Photography, Lisa’s Sweet Stop, Melissa Rose Photography, Premier Productions, Smith Concrete, the Valley List, and Wilky’s Sports Bar.

“We anticipate another great event with three BrAva Mom Prom queens, mothers who have helped their child navigate the challenge of childhood cancer,” said Erin Roberts, BrAva vice president. “We are so honored that this event continues to draw crowds and funds every year for this important cause.”

BrAva is a nonprofit organization that seeks to help families affected by childhood cancer by providing funding and support. Since 2011, BrAva has given back more than $650,000 to local families and CureSearch, a national organization focused on childhood cancer treatment research.
