Henderson Hall wrapping up year with Christmas tour

BOAZ — Henderson Hall will host the 12th annual Henderson Christmas Evening open house and the last event of the year for the Hall on Saturday.

The event culminates the end of another tour season for the hall and is hosted by the Henderson hall docents.

Visitors will be greeted at the door by time-period adorned docents and tour the hall as if they were guests of one of the five generations of Henderson family members whose life and legacy lives on through the efforts of the volunteers.

Every room is beautifully decorated with time-period trees and decorations throughout. Step back in time walking through the festively adorned rooms of Historic Henderson Hall.

The special evening self-guided tour offers access to all rooms with the event beginning at 5 p.m. and the last entry into the house by 7 p.m.

There will be live music provided by the Williamstown High School String Ensemble on the second floor.

Hors d’oeuvres and wassail will be served throughout the evening at the Pohick Hall. There will also be Dave Fetty blowing glass, the Henderson spinners, weavers, blacksmith, and music by the Henderson Bagpipers.

Cost is $25 per person. Tickets may be purchased at Henderson Hall from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday, or by going online to www.hendersonhallw.org.
