VIENNA — After a couple years off due to the pandemic, the City of Vienna was able to bring back its Family Fun Weekends.

Saturday was the first of three fun days and four movie nights.

During the day, families can enjoy playing in water, on the Spencer Park playground equipment and on a bounce house as well as partaking of free food and snow cones. At night they can enjoy free popcorn, hot dogs and candy while enjoying different movies.

On Saturday, kids watched “Sing 2.”

The next Family Fun Weekend will be July 8-9 and the movie is “Frozen 2.” For July 29-30, the movie is “Ratatouille.”

On Aug. 6, there will be a movie night only, featuring “Encanto.”

“I couldn’t imagine pulling this off without the help of the Holly Days royalty and city employees,” said Linda Kern, the city event organizer.
