Employees of Kelly Paving work to install a new sidewalk in the 900 block of Market Street on Wednesday afternoon. Paid for with federal Community Development Block Grant funding, the next phase of the Market Street streetscape enhancement began Friday. The work will include the addition of curb cuts to allow access for wheelchairs, trees and landscaping features and curb bump-outs, which are designed to encourage slower vehicle speeds and add aesthetic and stormwater retention properties.
