Parkersburg’s Christmas Tree arrives

Parkersburg employees anchor the city Christmas tree beside the Municipal Building on Friday morning. The approximately 25-foot tree came from a north Parkersburg property and was donated by Wiley Hicks, Mayor Tom Joyce said. No formal tree lighting ceremony is planned this year because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. (Photo by Evan Bevins)
