PARKERSBURG — Nightmare on Broad Street will be held Saturday, Sunday and Monday at the Parkersburg YMCA on Broad Street.

The three-night Halloween event includes a socially-distant indoor trick or treat, haunted house, children’s character photos and performance by the Thrill the World Dancers from Parkersburg.

The celebration will be kicked off 6 p.m. Saturday by a performance by the Thrill the World Dancers and donation drive for Animal Lives Matter WV. Trick or treating, character photos and haunted house tours will follow the performance at 7 p.m. and continue 6:30-7:30 p.m. Sunday and Monday.

The YMCA of Parkersburg safeguards the health of all by implementing CDC recommendations and health department guidelines. Event protocol includes: proper face masks are required to be worn by all ages 9 years and older; traffic flow controlled by parking attendants; limited group sizes for all activities; proper social distancing practices are encouraged; continuous disinfecting by staff members with Electrostatic Backpack Sprayer.

While Nightmare On Broad Street is free, donations of all amounts are accepted to support the YMCA of Parkersburg.
