Artist Walk event continues Saturday

VIENNA — The Artist Walk sponsored by Artsbridge continues Saturday at the Grand Central Mall in Vienna.

Held from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. in the parking lot by J.C. Penney, the show of local artists will be held every Saturday in October. It features 15 artists and their handmade art, with different artists each week.

Among items for sale are stained glass, handmade jewelry, woodworking, textile and handwoven work, photography, oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings, drawings, pottery, prints and sculpture, among other items.

The Pottery Studio at the Parkersburg Art Center, Art Beat Studio also will sell work. The Watering Can Art Studio will have make-and-take art projects for kids.

Featured artists include Greta Hanesworth and Loran Elizabeth with stained glass, Christine Songo with wire-wrapped jewelry, Steve Morningstar with oil paintings, Robin Tennant on photography, Kylie Laalemont on fiber arts, Ted Lewis on woodworking, Melony Gingery on sculpture and Joe Bello on pareidolic art.

Artist Walk will be canceled if the event of rain and rescheduled to the following Saturday.
