PARKERSBURG — The 2020 graduating seniors at Parkersburg High School and Parkersburg South High School Thursday morning participated in their schools’ annual rites of passage.

Seniors at Parkersburg South celebrated SPOT Day while their counterparts at the cross-town Parkersburg High celebrated Color Day. Parades were held at both schools.

Graduation at Parkersburg High will begin at 5:30 p.m. today at Stadium Field. Commencement at Parkersburg South was Thursday evening.

Both graduation exercises were delayed because of the pandemic.
