PARKERSBURG — The Tiffany Roberts photo collection may be viewed at WesBanco Bank, 415 Market St., Parkersburg, through the month of March.

The lobby is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.

Roberts is the owner and photographer of Dapper Dachshund Photography in Marietta.

She has experience in all types of photography and design, but her true passion is photographing newborn babies, children, and maternity portraiture. She takes lifestyle portraits of the babies born at Marietta Memorial Hospital on a biweekly basis.

The love for photography started in high school when she was given a digital camera and a couple of lenses for Christmas. With this camera she practiced on anything in her house to get a cute picture, which were mainly their dogs. This was the beginning that turned into her profession a little over five years ago and the opening her own studio.

In high school Roberts took Interactive Media through the tech program at Morgan High which strengthened her love for photography and introduced her to computer programs such as Photoshop and InDesign that she uses in her business. At Washington State Community College she took video, art, graphic design, film and digital photography classes. After graduation from Washington State, Roberts attended West Virginia University at Parkersburg graduating with a bachelor’s of applied science in business administration with a specialization in marketing and management, which helps her in the business portion of her studio.

“Most of the portraits I have on exhibit at WesBanco are pieces that were commissioned by clients. When I am hired for a photography session, I go through an extensive consultation so my client knows what to expect for their photoshoot and I learn what they like as far as colors, outfits, props, and poses,” said Roberts.
