PARKERSBURG — American Legion — 40/8 — will hold a spaghetti dinner will be held 6-8 p.m. Saturday at American Legion Post 15 at 2505 Ohio Ave. The cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children. The event is open to the public. Triple Threat will perform from 7-11 p.m.
MARIETTA — “Digging the Past: Archaeology Day” will be held 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Campus Martius Museum.
Regular museum admission applies. Campus Martius will fill its halls with original artifacts from the pre-historic to the historic period displayed by local collectors and others from elsewhere throughout the state. Visitors are also encouraged to bring their local finds for identification.
The speakers will include: “Hidden Hopewell Landscapes, New Discoveries at Hopewell National Historical Park” by Brent J. Ruby; PhD, Hopewell National Historical Park; “Marietta Earthworks Research and Exhibit Project” by Wes Clark, Registered Professional Archaeologist; “C.S.I.
