Officials cut ribbon on new Wood County Senior Center

PARKERSBURG — Seniors and officials gathered Friday at 524 Green St. to celebrate the official opening of the Wood County Senior Citizens Association center.

The new location held a soft opening in September, but Friday’s ribbon cutting officially opened the new center. More than 100 people gathered for Friday’s event and lunch, including state representatives and local officials.
