VIENNA — The Vienna Civitan will hold its annual Soup Bean Dinner from 4-7 p.m. Saturday at the Vienna Community Building in Jackson Memorial Park. Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for children up to 12 years. Proceeds fund community projects.

CUTLER — Two events will be held Saturday at the Cutler Community Center on Two Mile Run Road.
The Federal Creek Indian Organization of Ohio will hold its annual Casserole Cook-Off from noon to 3 p.m. Entry is free for contestants or $5 for all you can taste. Contestants will begin setup at 10 a.m. Guests will have the opportunity to taste each entry and vote for their favorites. Contestants can enter casseroles in either or both categories. Category 1 (Crock Pot) is a dish cooked slowly in the crock pot for more than three hours and containing more than one ingredient. Category 2 (Casserole Dish) is an oven-baked dish that is made in a flat casserole pan. Prizes will be given in both categories. The kitchen will be open to purchase drinks and desserts.
In a separate event, the Research and Identification of Early Occupancy of Southern Ohio also will meet noon to 3 p.m. for a celebration of National Native American Indian Heritage Month. Displays of native art and artifacts, information about the journey and makeup of the Nahyssan Nation and plans for the future will be available.
