West Virginia Interstate Fair to run July 16-20

MINERAL WELLS — The 2019 West Virginia Interstate Fair and Exposition runs July 16-20 at the fairgrounds on Butcher Bend Road near Mineral Wells.

The fair will feature live music, carnival rides, crafts, vendors, 4-H activities and track events for ATVs, trucks and tractors.

Admission is $9 per day from Tuesday through Thursday and $10 per day on Friday and Saturday. A three-day pass is $22 and a five-day pass is $35. The multi-day passes do not include carnival rides. Advance tickets available until the first day are $8 and do include carnival rides.

There are also a couple of special admission days. Senior Citizens Day is Tuesday when all seniors ages 60 and over admitted for $5. Armed Forces Day is Thursday when active military personnel are admitted free with an active duty or active reserve duty military ID. Carnival rides are free with the purchase of an admission ticket. Carnival hours are 6-11 p.m. Tuesday, 5-11 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 1-11 p.m. Saturday.

This year’s entertainment lineup includes: Ryan Cane and the Ables, When Gods Collide, Out of Eden Eagles Tribute Band, Rick K and the Allnighters, William Michael Morgan, Tom Roddy and JP Chandler.
