Gentlemen of Note to perform ‘Musical Moments on Mother’s Day’
PARKERSBURG — A new musical organization has been formed in Parkersburg called Gentlemen of Note which will present “Musical Moments on Mother’s Day” at 4 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church, 10th and Juliana streets, Parkersburg.
Admission is free. The group will be joined by the Smoot Boys Quartet, which will be passing out flowers to concert attendees, pianist Jimmy Sundquist and director Felice Jorgeson.
The musical director for Gentlement of Note is Jean Singer, while Sundquist is the accompanist. Its members are Vince Jessup, Mike West, Isidro Amigo, Bill Warfield, Bob Herceg, Dan Wilson, Dennis Deem, Greg Higgins, Brett Meade, David Morford, Tom Blissett and Mark Gaston.
The Smoot Boys Quartet members are Josiah Stephens, James Reedy, Jessie Eaton and Micah Kaminski.
