Coolville Founders Day to be celebrated

COOLVILLE — The annual Coolville Founders Day celebration will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday.

There will be concessions, entertainment and activities throughout the day. Activities will include a cruise-in, parade, horseshoe pitching tournament, kid’s activities, karaoke, a tractor show, horse drawn wagon rides, a dilly dunker and ice cream by Coolville United Methodist Church. Music will be provided by Rick Moore and the Country Fever Band, Grace for Faith, Show-nufs, the Harmony Trio and Delivered.

The scheduled activities include:

* 7:30 a.m.: Breakfast at Peoples Club

* 9 a.m.: Pie baking contest registration; Parade lineup at Old Hilltop Building

* 10 a.m.: Parade

* 10:45 a.m. to noon: Masonic Lodge Tours

* 11 a.m.: Opening Ceremony; Cruise In registration for Mid-Ohio Valley Widetrackers

* Noon: Mid-Ohio Valley Widetrackers Cruise In; Horseshoe pitching tournament registration; Redneck Tractor Pulls; Grace for Faith performs; Ninja Warrior Course opens

* 1 p.m.: Kiddie Pedal Pulls; Garden Tractor Pulls; Horseshoe pitching tournament; Harmony Trio performs; Pie Contest Auction

* 2 p.m.: Show-nufs performs

* 3 p.m.: Delivered performs: Magic of Believe (school gymnasium)

* 2-4 p.m.: Kids’ Carnival Games

* 4 p.m.: Crossroads performs

* 5-7 p.m.: Karaoke with Harold Guess

* 7 p.m.: Rick Moore and the Country Fever Band performs

* 9 p.m.: Festival closes.
