Tamarack slates jury session for Feb. 15

CHARLESTON — Tamarack: The Best of West Virginia will hold a jury session 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 15 at the West Virginia Culture Center at the State Capitol Complex in Charleston.

The session will immediately follow the Arts at the Heart of Communities 2017 Arts Day at the Legislature.

Arts Day is sponsored by the Division of Culture and History and the Commission on the Arts. It celebrates the vitality and impact of the arts in West Virginia on cultural growth, economic development and education.

The event will be held in the upper and lower rotundas of the Capitol and will include information booths artists, and arts education and organizations across the state.

Individual artists and arts organizations are invited to participate. The deadline for registration has been extended to today and registration forms are available at wvculture.org/arts/artsday/2017/New2017ArtsDayapplication.pdf.
