Photography exhibit on display at WesBanco Bank
PARKERSBURG — The Ronald Rodeheaver photography exhibit will be on display at WesBanco Bank, 415 Market St., Parkersburg, during the month of February.
The exhibit may be viewed during regular business hours of Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Rodeheaver has been working in photography for over 35 years and his favorite part of photography is finding things just around the area and capturing them with his camera, then freezing them in time so images may be enjoyed over and over again.
“We see things every day, but we don’t always really look at them. I think we often take for granted how beautiful God’s creation can be,” he said.
Rodeheaver is a self-taught photographer and concentrates mainly on nature photography by taking photographs of landscapes and unusual architecture. The exhibit at WesBanco has many photos from travels throughout the United States.
He enjoys the technical aspects of photography and uses a Nikon camera and various lenses.
Rodeheaver has exhibited several times at the Parkersburg Art Center including “The River” Professional Juried Exhibit. In 2015, he was awarded color photo of the year, Challenge Photo of the Year, and President’s Award from the Parkersburg Area Photography Club.
