Hayden Hatmacher, of Chillicothe, installs high-speed internet fiber lines for GloFiber Business (formerly Verizon) near the Porterfield Community Building. When asked whether he was working because the winter storm had knocked out internet service, Hatmacher said “Oh, no, that was yesterday,” before explaining that Wednesday’s work was to make progress on a line meant to end up at the Memorial Health System Belpre Medical Campus.
