Regal Cinemas to reopen at Grand Central Mall
VIENNA — Regal Cinemas at the Grand Central Mall is set to reopen Friday with ticket sales starting last week, according to its website.
Protocols will be put in place for moviegoers to follow for a safe and enjoyable experience, Regal said.
Contactless payments for tickets and concession stand items will be available through an app.
Guests will be required to wear a mask while in the lobby, hallway, restrooms and auditoriums and are only permitted to take it off while eating or drinking, Regal said.
The auditorium will be seated at 50 percent capacity and the fresh air intake will be increased to maximize air flow, the company said.
To help maintain social distancing, two empty seats will be between each party.
All water fountains, condiment stands, vending machines and every other concession stand register will be closed. Refills on drinks and popcorn will be temporarily suspended and the concession stand will operate on the limited menu.
