Oppe, Waugh elected as West Virginia Oil Marketers & Grocers Association officers

PARKERSBURG — Two local business owners have been selected as officers in the West Virginia Oil Marketers & Grocers Association, which represents convenience stores, independent groceries and petroleum marketers.

Jim Oppe of TWJ Inc. in Parkersburg was selected vice chairman and Brian Waugh of Par Mar Stores of Marietta was elected secretary-treasurer for the 2019-20.

Other officers are Chairman Greg Darby of the Little General Store of Beckley, Immediate Past Chairman Joe DeFazio of the DeFazio Oil Co. of Monongah and President Traci Nelson.

The association promotes and improves the business interests of those engaged in the petroleum marketing, retail grocery and convenience store industries in West Virginia. Most members are West Virginia businesses.
