First Settlement Physical Therapy holds open house in Mineral Wells
MINERAL WELLS — First Settlement Physical Therapy (FSPT) held a ribbon cutting and open house Oct. 28 at its new Mineral Wells location at 1405 Elizabeth Pike, Ste. 103, Mineral Wells, in the old IGA Building.
FSPT is a locally-owned family practice that has been in business for over 20 years.
“It’s our goal to provide quality care to everyone within five minutes in the MOV,” said FSPT owner Simon Hargus. “We also like to give back to the communities we are in, that’s why we are a partner in education with Mineral Wells Elementary.”
When Melody Vincent, Assistant Director of the Mineral Wells office was asked what she was most excited about the new location she said “I’m excited that I am able to offer care to the people that I know and love. We do our best to make therapy enjoyable.
“The community has made me feel welcome and I enjoy working with them. I want to make sure our clinic provides the best care for our friends and neighbors,” Vincent said.
“I enjoy working with patients and helping them achieve their goals and regain their independence. We feel we provide individualized care and we have services that are not offered anywhere on this side of town such as aquatic therapy. I love that I get to help the community that I grew up in,” said Taylor Griffith, Director of FSPT in Mineral Wells.
FSPT offers a variety of services for all ages, including aquatic therapy that is heated and has an underwater treadmill, dry needling, orthopedic care, sports medicine, neurological care, and hand therapy.
