Kohart-Green

Eve Cathleen Kohart and David Matthew Green were united in marriage May 23 at St. John’s Christian Church in Archbold, Ohio. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Rev. Erich Christman.

The bride is the daughter of Timothy and Georgia Kohart of Defiance, Ohio.

The groom is the son of Brian and Penny Green of Belpre. He is the grandson of the late Russell and Lois Daughtery of Belpre, and Naomi and the late Lee Green of Marietta.

The bride wore an Allure slim-fitted lace gown with a chapel-length train and high neckline of sheer lace and scalloped edging continuing to the back. Her chapel-length illusion veil was anchored with a comb of crystal baby’s breath. Her wedding bouquet was composed of pink peonies, blue hydrangea and baby’s breath.

Attending the bride were matrons of honor Elizabeth Morgan and Ellen Erickson, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Katie Kocher and Hillary Phillis, friends of the bride, and Laura Green, sister of the groom. The matrons of honor and bridesmaids wore floor-length Wedgewood blue chiffon gowns. The gowns were designed with a sweetheart neckline, with ruched cap sleeves and criss-cross pleated bodice with soft front gathers. They carried a hand-tied baby’s breath nosegay.

The flower girl was Eloise Lawson, cousin of the bride. She wore a Disney Blossoms design tea-length dress of ivory soft net. It featured a tiered, ruffled skirt with flutter sleeves with a grosgrain ribbon tied at the waist, acccented with an organza flower. She carried a baby’s breath pomander and wore a baby’s breath wreath in her hair.

Daniel Ferguson served as the best man, a friend of the groom. Groomsmen were David Gonzalez and David Hale, friends of the groom. The white rose on the altar was in loving memory of groomsman Gregory Smith. Ushers were William Morgan and Jared Erickson, brothers-in-law of the bride. The men wore grey tuxedos by Vera Wang accented with a black necktie. The polished, lightweight wool tuxedos featured a body-contouring cut; two button double-vented jacket and smoke cufflinks.

During the lighting of the unity candle, Elizabeth Morgan played the piano and sang “Feels Like Home.”

Guests were registered by Rhyan and Jordyn Dick, cousins of the bride.

The reception was held at Founder’s Hall at Historic Sauder Village in Archbold.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Toledo with a BBA in marketing and financial services. She is employed as an awards administrator at Modern Builders Supply, corporate in Toledo.

The groom is a gradue of the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy with a BSPS in medicial and biological chemistry. He is an associate medical research manager at North American Science Associates world headquarters in Northwood, Ohio.

The couple spend their honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii. The couple resides in Perrysburg, Ohio.
