Alexandra Lea Boso and Alexander Phillip Aspinwall were married 5:30 p.m. Aug. 22 in the woods at the bride’s family home. The wedding was officiated by Fred Ervin. A reception was held on the lawn immediately following the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ed and Anne Boso of Washington, W.Va. She is the granddaughter of Bob and Lyril Pratt of Parkersburg and Ed and Shelba Boso of Washington, W.Va.
The groom is the son of Flip and Denise Aspinwall of Chesapeake, Va. He is the grandson of Philip Allan and the late Shirley Allan of Gloucester, Va. and the late Bubba Aspinwall and the late Lynn Aspinwall of Virginia Beach, Va.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a bohemian style gown, which she designed and made of antique white chiffon. It was accented with a MillieIcaro Sash made of pearls and swarovski crystals. She wore a ring of greenery around her head and carried a bouquet of wildflowers, roses and succulents.
Katy Kinsey of Washington, D.C., friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Michelle Piersanti of Hoboken, N.J., Jennifer Ratliff of Parkersburg, both friends of the bride, and Tracie Aspinwall of Chesapeake, sister of the groom. Lexi Vongorhon of Annapolis, Md. and Emma Ervin of Parkersburg, both friends of the bride, served as guest attendants. The bridesmaids wore neutral-colored dresses of different designs and each carried a smaller version of the bride’s bouquet.
Brian Crabill of Morgantown, friend of the groom, served as bestman. Groomsmen included Clark Gerken of Mobile, Ala. and Tyler Briggs of Chesapeake, friends of the groom, and Samuel Boso of Parkersburg, brother of the bride.
The bride is a 2014 graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in fashion design. The groom is a 2013 graduate of WVU with a degree in wildlife and fisheries and is enrolled in a graduate program at Auburn University.
After a honeymoon at Lake Tahoe, the couple resides in Auburn, Ala.
