Dorothy Turner will celebrate her 90th birthday on Monday, Jan. 25.
She was married to the late Joe Turner for 50 years. She is the daughter of the late William F. and Amy Noge Rapp.
After graduating from Parkersburg High School in 1949, Turner worked at Universal Glass company until it closed. She then worked at for the Wood County Clerk and retired at age 74 after working full-time for 56 years.
She is a member of the Alpha Rho Sorority and the Sanctuary Society at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. She has 10 nieces and nephews, two of them she greatly misses, and countless great-nieces and great-nephews, some of whom lovingly call her “Aunt Dee Dee.”
