Update: West Virginia’s schools to close Wednesday to honor late President Bush

All Wood County Schools will be closed Wednesday as part of a national day of mourning for the late President George Bush. Superintendent Will Hosaflook confirmed the closure Tuesday.

Update: All West Virginia schools will be closed Wednesday, according to a tweet by the West Virginia Department of Education.

“ATTENTION: Consistent with the Presidential Proclamation issued from President Trump and the Executive Order issued from Governor Justice, all county school systems will be closed tomorrow (December 5) in observance of the day of mourning in honor of President George H.W. Bush.”
