Wirt County wins Blue Devil Alumni Tournament

ST. MARYS — Wirt County bested nine other teams here Saturday to capture the fifth annual Blue Devil Alumni Tournament as Ravenswood finished runner-up (131.5 to 121) with host St. Marys (111) placing third.

The expected 16-team field was a little short due to squads not coming because of Mother Nature.

That led to just five classes being bracketed with the other nine competing in a round robin format.
