Ohio Valley University men’s soccer team are conference champions for the first time in program history. The Fighting Scots downed Davis & Elkins 3-1 to win the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship Saturday on the campus of Muskingum University.

Ignacio Diaz scored twice for the Scots, while goal keeper Carlos Rubio became the all-time winningest keeper in conference history.

OVU also received the conference champions’ automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.
