St. Marys, Ravenswood meet in LKC finals today

ST. MARYS – Robbie Harper struck out a career-high 16 while Jarrod Lough and Garrett Furr drove in the tying and winning runs respectively in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift host St. Marys to a 2-1 win over Gilmer County in an LKC playoff semifinal game on Thursday.

In the other semifinal, Ravenswood shut out Roane County, 10-0, as Issac Crow and Jon Watkins combined on a one-hitter, and Devon Crews led the Red Devils at the plate, going 3-for-3 with two doubles, a triple and three RBIs.

Crow also had a double and drove in two runs, and Rhys Jelich went 3-for 3 with a triple.

St. Marys and Ravenswood now meet for the LKC championship at 6 p.m. today in St. Marys.
