Drazba second at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.-St. Marys senior Maggie Drazba made the trek to Franklin Field in the ‘City of Brotherly Love’ to participate in the prestigious Penn Relays over the weekend.

Competing in the 3000 meter run the Blue Devil standout finished second with a time of 9 minutes, 37.37 seconds. Winning the race with a time of 9:35.52 was Sophie Chase from Lake Braddock High School in Burke, Va.

Drazba will return to instate competition on Friday when she takes part in the Little Kanawha Conference championships at Ritchie County High School on Friday.
