If any change were to be made, it should be to increase the emphasis on honors and AP coursework. Those courses should count for much more than general requirements. Academic honors should be accorded to students who demonstrate scholarly achievement.

There is alot of crybaby parents and spoiled brats who are causing the controversy. They are a bunch of sore losers and are resorting to legal action with their frivilous lawsuits. They hope to force the schools to change their minds and to make them valedictorian when they don't deserve it. This is how the schools are now. Things have gotten alot worse now since they took prayer and paddling out of the schools. Todays youth are being raised to be a bunch of overgrown spoiled brats when they become adults!
