halfhill- we don't have a democracy. We have a republic, as in "I pledge allegiance to the Republic". We do not have direct election of the president in the general election and didn't have it in the primaries. myth - What is Ron Paul's position on health care?

thatsjustme We are all free to choose who we think thats gonna get the job done Ron Paul was my pick im sorry if i came off as someone that would push aside what another citizen would choose to get the one i support in. Your rite about the james madison comment. I just feel Ron Paul is the best choice to get things on a sure footing again. The three candidates that you here about now just feel like they where put there for us to pick from. I just hope im wrong and things change for the better no matter who gets in there.

myth, I think you mean "wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross", don't you? That quote is a wonderful thing and speaks to the christians of today tying the constitution and the bible. Good for you for calling them out. I fully intend to vote for Obama and I'm excited about it. We have to restore some legitimacy to the WH once Bush is out. We have rights to restore and rights to exercise. Your rant berating everyone else other than Paul is odd. Seems like you'd take my right to choose who I want to get Paul elected. How does Paul feel on these topics - health care, the war (I know this one), NAFTA, abortion, budget?

Its amazing that people just dont get the fact that the presidential race is rigged it is pointless to vote. And voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil. All three candidates are bought and paid for. Ron Paul was the only real choice but was black listed for being a true patriot and supporting the Constitution. Just wait and see what the three stooges are gonna do with all the powers that bush bestowed upon himself if any one of them gets elected. But maybe things need to get a lot worse so things will improve something to make the average american to pull there eyes away from american idol and actually care about what is being done to them and in there name.
