Was The Obamacare Fiasco An Àccident Or Planned?

It seems more likely every day that Obama did not care if this sign up works or not. He did nothing to make it work. Full speed ahead to total socialized health care. Via obama, the community organizer.

(cont) All things considered, if Obama isn't trying "to destroy the country", I hate to see the actions of a man who was!

Kendall78 - You said, "...to ever imply that a President is trying to destroy the country is just stupid".

Have you noticed how those that worshipped at the feet of Obama (the MSM) are now beginning to second guess themselves? They are considering what his "blunders" are going to mean for his legacy. How about we consider that we have a skilled politician that seems to have the right things happen at the right times to keep him afloat and is much more interested in an agenda than the judgment placed upon his actions, by his victims, years from now?

On top of all the scandals he's wiggling through and societal changes he crafting, he has been decapitating a portion of our military high-command, as a sidebar project. For instance, I find it somewhat disturbing that he finds it necessary to discharge Major General Michael Carey one month before Iran may develop nuclear weapons.

Joe Wilson wasn't wrong, just prophetic. If you like your plan you can keep it. Over and over Obama has made the statement and used it to pacify the masses to gain a second term. The man lied and realizing that is not stupid, it's only stupid to believe otherwise. Do you really think most are better off now than they were five years ago? Don't think the governments own statics could prove that. If the feds weren't pumping $85billion a month into the markets the whole house of cards would fall. Don't forget that we are just one crisis away from disaster.

The biggest joke I heard last week was when the Dems came out and said Obama was politically to the right of Reagan. Don't care who you are, that's funny!! What's not funny is the National Debt increased $409,000,000,000 in the first month of the New Fiscal Year. At that rate they could add $5 Trillion by the end of September.

"Unfortunately, it's our country that he seems content to destroy. How else do you explain the bald faced lies the man expels and never gets called on."

I don't care the party...to ever imply that a President is trying to destroy the country is just stupid.

As for his "lies"...he seems like any other politician in that regard. Also..many of his lies are only such after the editorial news gets doen with them.

"So you feel business should just break even and all profits(if they make one) should go to the government for the good of the people.."

Nope. You misunderstand my "sadly" part of the comment. What I mean by sadly is that is the way of the world and out culture. It's the reality of the situation that the purpose of business is not for the welfare of mankind but the welfare of the owners and investors. Businesses though are hip deep in humanity and has learned to bend some when it comes to the welfare of the people.

For those of you that believe the 'end game' was to provide health care coverage for those that couldn't afford it, your eyes WILL BE opened.

Their are few utilities for a government to install and begin to affect control over other areas of 'the govern ds' lives anymore than government indentured health care.

THAT is exactly why Obama doesn't appear too upset about the shortcomings involved in launching his signature legislation.

It IS NOT all what it appears to be. No doubt his 'ends' justifies his 'means'.

You think Obama might be a little naive? Not so, he knows quite well how to destroy a country. Unfortunately, it's our country that he seems content to destroy. How else do you explain the bald faced lies the man expels and never gets called on. The media is starting to do its job but it may be too little, too late. Late night comics are starting to fire off a few jokes at him, but still bring up Reagan or Bush more often. As to Obamacare coming out so poorly. No program could be this bad by accident.

So you feel business should just break even and all profits(if they make one) should go to the government for the good of the people to lazy, or stupid to make it on their own. Some people will always be poor and need assistance, but when 50% fall into that category the ants can't make enough to take of themselves and the grasshoppers.

Sometimes I think Obama is a bit naive with certain aspects of the nation. Especially when it involves businesses like the insurance companies.

Deep down, I think the President thinks that these various groups will do what is right or good for the sake of that alone. Sadly, businesses exist not to be "good" but to make profit and will be good if they can afford it.

I do agree that 80% of premium monies be used to fund claim work and not to fund lobbyists' and the legislation they promoted to maintain a near monopoly in the industry,... and I agree that pre-existing conditions not be allowed to disqualify prospects, and I agree that limits not be put on claims payments.

So, ithink, you would favor "single payer" legislation ?

"That's where you are completely wrong myth. If your buddy is burying his truck, you hold his beer and make*****sure to get it on video."

Well my example wasn't that great. I should have added that if you and your bud were working or something.

But yea if its someone playing in a mudhole I am pretty certain I would just sit back and laugh as they got stuck.

I feel Obama lied when he said Americans could keep their existing plans. He’s not stupid, and only someone stupid would expect insurance companies to provide more expensive coverage for the same money.

You mention the “grandfather clause.” Should existing policies be “grandfathered” in? That’s an idea worth looking into. How long would the insurance companies be allowed to offer them? In perpetuity? For two years? Would the grandfathering apply to new customers, or only to existing customers? What impact would it have on the system? Whom would it help and whom would it harm?

Let’s quit the bickering and discuss the issues like adults.

You’re right, Ithink. It isn’t true that partisan bickering led to the ACA, and I shouldn’t have written that. Therefore, I retract that statement and issue this one:

Congress largely followed the deeply flawed Heritage Foundation/Insurance Industry/Romneycare model when it enacted the ACA because that’s all the Democratic Congress would permit and because the Democratic leaders hoped (in vain, as it turned out) that adopting Republican ideas would lead to Republicans cooperating to solve the problem.

So we’ve got the deeply flawed ACA. Now we need to put aside our partisan bickering and cooperate to solve the problem instead of using the problem to tear at each other.

Are you, Ithink, willing to propose solutions, or even comment on the suggestion I made?

I think not. I think you’d rather keep tearing people down.

I hope I’m wrong. We’ll see.

Sorry but that just won't do as a rebuttal.

Someone could have done something about that issue right there.

No one did.

If a buddy is burying his truck in a mudhole dont just sit there and mouth off about his attempts at getting out. Lend a hand or show him how its done. Otherwise the blame is just as much yours if he gets stuck while you are squawking about it.

It take two to tango.

Calling the ACA socialist and whatnot and shutting down the government does not demonstrate to people what is wrong with it.

The rights attempt at using "shock and awe" to get what they wanted did not work.

Actually taking the time to formulate a proper rebuttal to the ACA would have been magnitudes better.

No real surprise though. Just another botched job by the republicans.

Let me explain in my words what I think Harry was trying to get at.

Imagine the Obamacare fight like a fist fight between two people.

The left is the one making the attack and the right is on the defense.

The right instead of taking a defensive posture with which to defend their position decided to flail their arms around like an idiot and took a nice uppercut right to the chin.

Of course they learned nothing from this and continued to use flailing the arms about as a means of defense and now everyone thinks them stupid for this and here we are now...

Posted 355 days ago.

How did partisan bickering have anything to do with what is in obamacare, harry?

Obama and his cronies own this fiasco 100 per cent. Right now, good republican ldeas are coming to light that were ignored by obama. Like the grandfather clause. What a mess!

Good thoughts, Kathie, and it is nice to see another woman here, besides me.

Posted 356 days ago.

Not an accident, but is just a stepping stone to socialized medicine. He knew all along that this thing would NOT work...next will be the announcement of a single payer system...sounding much more tolerable than "SOCIALIZED MEDICINE" ! Either way, its still going to be a bitter pill for America to take. Now, more than ever, we need to impeach Obama !
