Was The Obamacare Fiasco An Àccident Or Planned?

It seems more likely every day that Obama did not care if this sign up works or not. He did nothing to make it work. Full speed ahead to total socialized health care. Via obama, the community organizer.

But oh my guess what? Those problems have been fixed.

You Tiredofit are foolishly assuming that these problems means that it will never work.

But then again you actually need that to happen for your world view about this whole issue to be validated don't you.

Therefor you will slam it anyway you can.

Facts be danged!

Microsoft spent a lot of time developing Xbox 360 hardware and they still encountered a significant issue with the hardware.

Look at the Playstation Network. Years of development there and it still got hacked and shut down for awhile.

Tiredofit is doing a freaking wonderful job of showing off his enormous ignorance on this subject.

He is also trying to make me look like the fool rather than actually using logic and reason to understand what I am saying.

No freaking surprise!

I wouldn’t call someone “maroon” and “obtuse one,” without ensuring that my own claims are reasonable and factual.

Tiredofit wrote, “…they had years to make a website work. One that you will be fined by the IRS if you cannot navigate.”

That statement makes two invalid assumptions—that the website is the only way to sign up and that the problems with the website will not be fixed in time for people to sign up before the deadline. Since people can sign up by phone or paper, they don’t have to “navigate” the website.

Tiredofit claimed that the website cost $600M. The Washington Post Fackchecker reported, “The floor for spending on the Web site to date appears to be at least $170 million, with an upward potential of nearly $300 million.”

ww w.washingtonpost.co m/blogs/fact-checker/wp/2013/10/24/how-much-did-healthcare-gov-cost/?tid=auto_complete

Invalid assumptions and an unprovable figure. Talk about pathetic arguments! Did Tiredofit “take a bite out of (his own) credibili

What's more how about this radical right wing idea. How about being sure you have a website that works before demanding every American, well those that don't get special exemption, register and buy a product under penalty of LAW. NO, WE CANNOT DEFER THE MANDATE ON THE SHEEP.

Wow what a pathetic argument. Xbox????? Really???? This is the federal take over of the healthcare system, and they had years to make a website work. One that you will be fined by the IRS if you cannot navigate. The point oh obtuse one, is if they cannot get a website to work after 600 million dollars and three years of preparing, how the heck will they manage healthcare. You sophmoric response about video games only take a bite out of what little bit of credibility you have.

Do yourself a favor and look up the Xbox 360 red ring of death problem.

Look at how long it took Microsoft to fix that problem!

These days when complex systems are first rolled out IT IS TO BE EXPECTED that there will be problems.

Besides its really not surprising at all that those who take issue with the ACA would be waiting for the slightest issue to crop up so that they could hoist it up and laud it as proof that the ACA is doomed to failure.

Could it be that you are just mad that me putting forth an example of what is going on with the ACA website isn't abnormal kinda sort takes the bite out of your argument.

Also I am not making excuses. I am just trying to enlighten those that would take this issue and blow its significance way the he11 out of proportion.

I am not defending the ACA either.

This forum topic is undoubtedly about the website problems. Which is technical in nature. I brought up game launch issues because they have also had technical issues during their initial rollout.

Given the track record of things like this happening it is no surprise to me that there are technical issues related to the rollout of the ACA.

I find it impossible to believe anyone would compare the launch of video game to the govt takeover of healthcare. Wow.

Once again making excuses myth? Are people MANDATED BY LAW TO BUY SIMCITY? What a maroon.

What does single payer have to do with a vat tax? Is that how they propose to pay for health care for all by taxing everything not nailed downed and just charging a fee for everything that is?

Posted 331 days ago.

mythravere

On the issue of a single payer system. I have no issue paying a VAT on every single thing I purchase.

The thing I doubt you two realize is that the problems with the ACA website isn't without precedent.

Being a gamer this isn't anything strange to me.

I've seen plenty of launch day glitches with online games. Some glitches take awhile to fix. Heck some games that run fine for most of the time can be brought to almost a standstill because so many people are loading down the servers.

Just look at the SimCity launch debacle.

One thing is for SURE. No one named Obama or Pelosi will ever have to sign up. Just like Socialists everywhere, there are the elite, and the worker bees.

Tiredofit

I don't know if it was intentional, but this crisis won't go to waste, its a great segway to single payer (govt) health-care. That's what the socialists wanted all along.
