Was The Obamacare Fiasco An Àccident Or Planned?

It seems more likely every day that Obama did not care if this sign up works or not. He did nothing to make it work. Full speed ahead to total socialized health care. Via obama, the community organizer.

Congress largely followed the deeply flawed Heritage Foundation/Insurance Industry/Romneycare model when it enacted the ACA because that’s all partisan bickering would permit.

Now, that same partisan bickering prevents us from seeking solutions to our health care problem. Instead, we’re seeking to use health care policy as a political weapon against fellow Americans.

Here’s a thought—how about subsidizing EMPLOYERS who care enough about their employees to provide them health care?

There have aready been 1.5 million insurance cancellations.

Myth, are you saying it is the " right's " fault that obama made this hig mess? Typical liberal way of thinking. It is ironic that the democrats shut down the government rather than extend the start of this awful mess. Now they have to extend it themselves.

Its a freaking shame someone on the right didn't step up and make a good argument against the ACA.

Screaming bloody murder how awful it is was than a less than effective course of action....it accomplished nothing.

Ithink you are so locked into your ideology that you fail to notice that I do not like this health care act.

It in fact should be tossed out.

The more I think about it the more I come to see that the ACA is nothing more than an insurance industry sponsored law.

In fact that is who had the law written by way of their lobbying firms.

Here is a great talking point. If you like your health care plan, you can keep your plan.

Don't you just love that one, myth?

"The great men that formed this nation"?

Those rich, enlightened elitists that met behind locked doors and closed windows, in stifling heat, to carve out our US Constitution?

People that 'spread the wealth' Barack Obama would find abhorrent.

Are THOSE the "great men" to whom you refer, myth?

The great men that formed this nation would be equally aghast at both parties and the people that make them up.

The reason you can't figure me out is because I don't fly any banner but my own.

That is why I do not and will not vote.

Its pointless and is a waste of time.

Too many people just get in line and do what their neighbor does.

But I do realize there are things that have to be done today that have been done in years gone by that maintains what we have.

Far far too many people forget this and let ideology dictate to them what to do.

And a whole heap of it goes against what I believe this nation stands for. And has stood for.

It is the republican/conservative/tea party entity as a whole to which I refer.

Individuals tend to get swallowed up by the movements in which they participate which has a tendency to drown out their individuality.

Sad but true.

I try to figure out where you come from, and I cannot. I suppose by your own admission, you are stuck in a dead end job and the only way you feel you will ever have anything is to let govt take it from me and give it to you. Well I would prefer you just asked me. I find leftist to be cowards and afraid of the freedom to compete on a fair playing field. The great men that formed this nation would be ashamed to see the spoiled children that make up the electorate these days

I realize its easy for you to lump everyone together to make it easier to attack their motives, but its not an intellectualy honest method of debate.

Race has nothing to do with my dislike of Obama.

Posted 323 days ago.

mythravere

I'm sorry. Racism is part of it. In my opinion you guys have a knack for working yourselves up into a hissy over stuff...facts being not necessary either. And once an anti-Obama talking point gets put out into the masses of rightwingers its repeated until it takes such a hold that no one can dispel it.

Yeah myth, must be racism. Obama is very divisive, is he the soul reason, no does he exploit the division in the country YES INDEED.

“Obama isn't making people hate him that much they are choosing to be that way.”

Whether to hate (or love) someone is always a choice.

Posted 323 days ago.

mythravere

I find the claim from those that dislike Obama that he is divisive..that he is the absolute reason for the divisiveness to be rather dishonest.

Its choice whether you like Obama or not.

And the degree to which a person disapproves of Obama is a choice also.

A lot of the dislike for Obama is on a level that goes way beyond disapproval over differences of opinion and ideology.

Its flat out hate. Obama isn't making people hate him that much they are choosing to be that way.

Making the claim is that he is the total reason for the division in this country is petty and childish.

And, after two hundred and thirty-seven years of tenuous cohesiveness, the viable alternative is... a "community organizer" in charge that seems to be nothing but divisive?

mythravere

That from so called defenders of freedom.

Pffft! Nope. They only defend their freedom..forget anyone else.

I mean I think it hilarious that some Christians on the right proclaim that their beliefs are being hindered when they are told they can't discriminate against people who they disagree with....but when in the pursuit of THEIR beliefs they actively seek to hinder other people from exercising their beliefs.

Dont you just love the hypocrisy in that position?

Posted 324 days ago.

mythravere

Hey Kunect you can say that about progressives but what about the dichotomy in regards to the Republicans who say government should have no say in the personal lives of people but then when it comes to enforcing their religious dogma on the masses its perfectly fine for government to able have that sway over the people?
