There are many people I respect on here, so it seems very odd to me when they go so off base with critiques on their own writings.
Brant also rambles on about the Koran and where it says lying is ok to achieve one's goals and finishes it with, "Add up Obama's Muslim training, along with his Marxist and radical educations and it clear why he is the liar-in-chief."
Ignoring the fact that Obama is not a Muslim and there is no evidence that Obama ever fals back on anything from the Koran.
Then Mr. Brant returns with various little bits like, "I do watch some Fox News as they are the only news source to air both sides of every issue."
I watch Fox News as well, but only a person with rose colored glasses would think they are fair and balance. The editorial news they serve leans Right. Nothing wrong with that as long as you do not rely on Fox for all of your news.
Pitrolo stated, "The objective is simple, elect no Democrat - period. It matters not about the Democrat's capabilities or whether he/she is the better competing candidate."
That's a pretty dangerous way of thinking. One should always vote for the best candidate, regardless of politics. If one wants to send a message to the Democratic Party...vote out the bad ones from within the ranks.
Some interesting LTTE this week. Mr. Harton stated, "Circumventing the constitution to achieve his goals on healthcare, coal use, auto bail outs, and recess appointments to name a few."
I don't see how our President circumvented our Constitution in any way that wasn't legal. The recess appointments happen under every modern President. Heck, I don't mind them too much because Congress drags their feet so much and it takes too much time.
Indeed Fred sees himself as such.
What an appropriate application of Animal Farm.
ACCOUNTABILITY FROM SCHOOLS a very good LTE from Mr Jim Mullen in last week's paper.
Always have to laugh when teachers cry about being under paid. Do they keep salaries a secret in that profession? You knew the pay levels when you went to school for that Masters degree, no you whine about pay. Poor widdle to ting.
Yes indeed the burden of education has been SOCIALIZED why else would those that don't use it still have to pay for it. I am sure a good little lefty like you adores the idea of indoctrination our youth with your socialists utopian ideas. Your "public servants" decry school choice because competition would destroy your little teacher's union and bring real education to our kids where parents had influence. Yes Fred you have spent too much time at the public trough like an old hog enjoying your slop.
The funny thing is they didn't have any viewers to spare. Fox News has three times as many viewers as CNN and MSNBC combined.
Just aso you are way off base about Fox News, myth, your comments about Drudge are more revealing about you than him. Still mad because he exposed the blue dress Clinton dirt?
Just last week the respected Charles Kraulthammer said Drudge is a genius. So I won't worry about your giggles.
Those that are taking part of a sweep being conducted by Nielsen. Those count.
Do you think that watching on a TV counts toward Neilson ratings?
Actually there is a big distinction and it is relevant to what Ithink said.
How I "watch" the news isn't counted like TV is by the Nielsen Ratings.
If you look at Fox's ratings and the age demographic of those watching you will see that in the 35 to 64 years of age group there are a lot of people watching Fox.
And conservatives being traditionalists I don't see them as being as reliant on online based media as liberals are.
Also I will say I do watch TV. But increasingly less and less of it. For one thing I am sick of all the stinking commercials. And the channels/shows I liked of really went downhill in the past couple of years.
Syfy is just plain crap anymore. History Channel is the Picker/Pawn Shop Channel now. The Discovery Channel is weighted down significantly by scripted shows now.
In fact soon I will be cutting off the cable once walking dead is finished.
There are cheaper ways of getting the shows I want. And I am going that route.
Myth you are losing it.
So you do watch it, just not on an actual TV big distinction.
Hey Tiredofit. Ummm in case you don't know. A lot of what is televised on tv can be found online.
Also a lot of the really stupid comments that Fox News makes gets in the news. I then go to Fox's site and watch it.
Thats how I know.
The OBAMA site is sooooooo bad!
I get it! I really do. So nice of you to notice!
Surely this ability to discern colossal screwups isn't something new is it?
Because you know I can readily see that you are so much about the fleecing of this great nation and the squandering of its riches.
Its just....Its just a crying shame we didn't have the rights impeccable discernment when Bush's cronie ol Shotgun Cheney decided to give millions of dollars in no bid contracts to his old pals at Halliburton.
Contracts I'll remind you that weren't fulfilled or were finished shoddily. And in some cases made our troops sick in the case of water purification that was done badly.
Just in case you forgot your own words. "Take me for example. Every single bit of news I consume is done their my computer or apps on my cell phone. I do not watch televised news at all." HMMMMMMMM
