LtTE Overreactions

There are many people I respect on here, so it seems very odd to me when they go so off base with critiques on their own writings.

You know what I am going to try explain to what my issue with math is.

I don't know for sure why but the main problem stems from inability to keep numbers in my memory. The bigger the number the more apt for this to happen.

I just can't visualize a math problem in my head. Which by the way infuriates me because it's not like I choose to be this way.

The numbers also have a tendency to get jumbled up. Again the bigger the number or problem the more its apt to happening.

But whats weird and I had a teacher in high school tell me this is that because I was really good at science it was strange that I had issues with math since most people who are good with one are also good with the other.

Also when I took the ASVAB test in high school I had a very high level of mechanical aptitude.

"Myth can you solve a basic trigonometry problem?"

No. I never got into the high levels of math.

"Lets all go back to basic algebra can you perform those functions?"

The same as the last question.

Mythravere's Math qualifications aren't germane to the issue.

One doesn't need to be a Math wizard to perform the experiment I suggested, which proves that CO2 and Methane, when added to ambient air, keep some heat from escaping.

Or rather is doing to the earth.

mythravere

Sorry to burst your bubble but that saturday morning Bill Nye experiment perfectly demonstrates what carbon in excess will do to the earth.

mythravere

" tell me what absolute PROOF you have that Carbon has anything to do with weather."

Carbon isn't directly affecting the weather. Carbon is affecting the climate. Changes in climate lead to changes in weather..on a seasonal basis. Due to extra heat which translates to energy weather patterns are changing along with other environmental changes.

Nevertheless, I'm answering.

Okay, Tiredofit,

You want proof that CO2 and methane trap heat. Here is a simple experiment you can perform yourself, using easily-obtained materials.

It doesn't matter what the facts say you are playing a game of rejecting the facts and it is demonstrated completely in the continuing saga of this debate on here.

Fixed.

It doesn't matter what the facts say you are playing a game of rejecting the facts and it is demonstrated completely in the continuing saga of this debate on hear.

But then again that is your game isn't it.

To say NO no matter what.

I see facts being put forth by those who believe man is causing climate change but pray tell where are your facts.

How about that experiment on that Bill Nye video?

Care to tell me why it is wrong?

To Ithink and Tiredofit I posit this question.

What is the point of people like Kendall, Harry and I putting forth information to show you the truth of mans role in changing the worlds climate when nothing that we put forth will be acknowledged by you?

All you guys do is move the goal posts and deny deny deny.

Posted 329 days ago.

Kendall, you have it backwards. You say climate change is man made, so the burden of proof is on you.

When someone is charged with a crime, he does not have to prove he is innocent. The prosecution has to prove he is guilty. You accuse us of changing the climate. Prove it. You can't, and haven't. It is your responsibility, not ours.

I don't feel the need to prove a negative that has not happened. You and myth and harry seem desperate to be part of the science fiction of global warming. No matter how many crooked money grabbers are exposed, you follow along.

Tired, ad hominems won't demonstrate you know what you are talking about in regards to climatology.

If you do indeed do not believe in man made climate change, what credible information do you have to present. That is how you demonstrate you have a working knowledge of the topic. It's that simple.

Posted 330 days ago.

Kendall78

I implied it because you have not demonstrated that you do posess such knowledge yet.

If you have a degree in climatology you would like to declare you may but that won't mean much when you do not argue good information to back your argument up with.

Kendall78

@myth- I think Tired believes he can win an argument with an educational degree d*ck measuring contest.

Sadly, he is mistaken.

Kendall78

How have I ran away? I said nothing but fact. My educational background does not change that.

I would have thought you wouldn't put much into an educational background. After all, Obama has a doctorate but that doesn't mean he knew squat about Health Insurance.

Posted 330 days ago.

mythravere

Tiredofit if you are highly educated then why do you say the things you do.

Or is your knowledge only of things that fall under the purview of your world view with all other points and considerations falling victim to your obvious bias?

In other words if you don't believe it then it mustn't/can't be true.

Posted 330 days ago.

Kendall78

"clearly the implication is that I am somehow inferior to you in intellect"

In intellect? Not established yet. But in citing credible sources and establishing a knowledge in basic fundamental climatology...you appear to fall short.

Posted 330 days ago.

Kendall78

"If I had to guess sir,"

No need to cuss.

"I would guess I have spent far more time in higher education than you."

Guessing seems to be something you do a fine job at. Knowing on the other hand..eh.

"Care to tell me about your academic pedigree?"

Why? Would that make my arugments better or worse than they have already been presented? Would they make your arguments better?

Posted 330 days ago.

Kendall78

"Do you know a single thing about my background and education?"

Nope, all I have to go by are your various and colorful comments on here to go by.

"How do you know what I understand about science ,mathematics etc."

I can only go by what you have posted on here or the lack thereof.
