Obama Has Been Disrespectful and Dishonest With Veterans and the Military.

It is shameful to have a leader act as this one does. Just ask most veterans.

Yes and it is YOU Harry. I didn't say you would admire hitler et al, I asked if you would be critical of him if you were a German in 39. Stop distorting my words.

One might notice that the quote attributed to me by Tiredofit was included in quotation marks. Most of us understand that we use quotation marks when we are quoting someone else. In this case, I made it quite clear that I was quoting Paul in the Bible.

That aside, any rational person who can read above elementary-school level would understand that “not speaking evil of” is not the same as “admiring and respecting.”

Ithink definitely twisted my words. She took “respect the office” and “not speak evil of” to mean I actually admired Hitler.

For the record, I don’t admire Hitler or any of the other people whom Ithink mentioned.

Again, I ask Ithink and now Tiredofit to stop distorting my words.

It’s not hard to see who is being dishonest here.

"It is written: 'You shall not speak evil of a ruler of your people. That's what you posted Harry, so you would not be critical of Hitler if you were a German in say 1939. I don't think ithink twisted your words as much as you tried to.

"I guess you really admire and respect Stalin, Mussolini, Ádolph H, Castro, Saddam Hussein Hirohito and too many others to mention."

Please stop distorting what I wrote.

I wrote, "I learned as a kid: to respect the office, even if you can't find anything good to say about the occupant of the office."

Dishonesty: The soldiers and their families were promised that final expenses would be taken care of if they had to make the ultimate sacrifice. It was not done. All obama had to do was sign an order, He usually loves to do that. But not this time.

Disrespect: Keeping veterans from visiting their own memorials, for vindictive reasons, is beyond understanding.

I don't see any disrespect from the President here. Not unless one would include both parties of Congress as being disrespectful too.

Though we are not privy to what goes on behind the scenes, it could be very possible that no one thought this mess would have been going on this long. Definitely not long enough to impact the National Guard.

And let's be honest, the majority of the NG could miss one weekend drill and essentially nothing would be lost. At least that is my opinion from time spent with the NG a few years ago.

Read the editorial in todày's paper, Kendall. It is called "Poor Judgement ".

Harry. I guess you really admire and respect Stalin, Mussolini, Ádolph H, Castro, Saddam Hussein Hirohito and too many others to mention.

But I do understand why they are doing it.

Just look at the TPGOP's poll ratings!

When you are that damaged you get desperate.

No. The people that are being disrespectful are those who are using support of veterans as a way a slinging mud on those they don't like.

Its the ol if you aint with us you are against us bs again.

Instead this time its the "you dont love veterans as much as we do" skit.

Sorry but this just plain petty and childish.

The only reason the right "stands" with them is for cheap political points.

Those interested may find that passage in Acts 23.

Some people have been disrespectful toward President Obama.

In days past, I have been disrespectful of Presidents. In doing so, I was not following something I learned as a kid: to respect the office, even if you can't find anything good to say about the occupant of the office.

And the Bible backs that up. Paul called the High Priest a "whitewashed wall." When people nearby rebuked him, Paul said that he didn't know he had been addressing the High Priest. Paul repented, saying, "It is written: 'You shall not speak evil of a ruler of your people.'"

Not exactly sure about the dishonest part but I haven't really seen him being disrespectful. At least not in a way I would call it that.
