It is shameful to have a leader act as this one does. Just ask most veterans.
Methinks ithink confuses intelligence and educational skills.
Aaaaah who cares anyways. Time for a name change then return and conduct my "business" from a Republican perspective.
"Let the women learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression." (I Timothy 2:11-14)
Here's some "wisdom" for you.
So what does this qualify as? The biblical teaching you hold with high regard and abide by or the biblical teaching you conveniently ignore?
Goodness..I'm upset? Hmmm. I don't feel upset.
Nice try Ithink. GOP Jihadi
You should know that if I was questioning someone's intelligence I would just call them stupid.
Did I say that? Nooooo!
Oh and you might want to see my reply to the post where you asked me if I was questioning someone's intelligence.
I forgot about my post to Ithink and erroneously thought you were referring to my reply to R1KRA8.
Funny that you left the context of that post out of your reply.
:) LOL Myth is upset. Maybe Harry will find some ancient quotes to calm him down. Of course I won't know what Harry actually means.unless he dumbs it down to my level.
But I will say the vast majority of what I post is for better or worse my own words.
Also one thing to think in consideration is the time in which I post. Early morning I am usually still waking up when posting so yea I do make mistakes. The same with late night posting. Get tired and come back later and realize I've made a mess of my posts.
Oh well...I ain't perfect.
All right for starters this is just a hometown Newspaper forum. I really don't care about grammar vocabulary and all that. Sometimes I misspell a word and miss the correction.
Oh well..I ain't perfect.
I do copy and paste stuff from time to time. But asides from a few times I usually put the source on there if there is one.
Okay, mythy, you want to discuss my intelligence. Fine. That makes it fair game to have fun with yours,
I notice strange things, about some of your posts. For years, grammar, spelling, and vocabulary have not been your strong points. No big deal.
But then you will post many posts of educated sounding drivel, worthy of any Harvard~Yale Bill Ayers radical.
You are a top notch cut and paster, myth.
How in the he11 would you construe that as questioning someone's intelligence.
What R1KRA8 posted was one of those things that goes without needing to be said. It served no real point.
But I see what you game is going to be now.
Given that I revealed that I have issues with math. Any time I bring up or question somebodies facts...you're going to whip that out and throw it in my face right?
How typical of a rightwinger.
I doubt anyone on this forum would have spoken "evil" of Hitler in 39.
Doing so would have meant certain death.
Very very few spoke out.
Let me get this straight Ithink. You need Harry to dumb down how he words stuff so you can understand it?
Goodness why am I not surprised!
Harry, don't distort my words. If you would just say what you mean, instead of using irrelevant quotes, we wouldn't have to guess at your meaning. Which is what I did.
One might notice that the quote attributed to me by Tiredofit was included in quotation marks. Most of us understand that we use quotation marks when we are quoting someone else. In this case, I made it quite clear that I was quoting Paul in the Bible.
That aside, any rational person who can read above elementary-school level would understand that “not speaking evil of” is not the same as “admiring and respecting.”
Ithink definitely twisted my words. She took “respect the office” and “not speak evil of” to mean I actually admired Hitler.
For the record, I don’t admire Hitler or any of the other people whom Ithink mentioned.
Again, I ask Ithink and now Tiredofit to stop distorting my words.
It’s not hard to see who is being dishonest here.
"I guess you really admire and respect Stalin, Mussolini, Ádolph H, Castro, Saddam Hussein Hirohito and too many others to mention."
Please stop distorting what I wrote.
I wrote, "I learned as a kid: to respect the office, even if you can't find anything good to say about the occupant of the office."
Dishonesty: The soldiers and their families were promised that final expenses would be taken care of if they had to make the ultimate sacrifice. It was not done. All obama had to do was sign an order, He usually loves to do that. But not this time.
Disrespect: Keeping veterans from visiting their own memorials, for vindictive reasons, is beyond understanding.
I don't see any disrespect from the President here. Not unless one would include both parties of Congress as being disrespectful too.
Though we are not privy to what goes on behind the scenes, it could be very possible that no one thought this mess would have been going on this long. Definitely not long enough to impact the National Guard.
And let's be honest, the majority of the NG could miss one weekend drill and essentially nothing would be lost. At least that is my opinion from time spent with the NG a few years ago.
Read the editorial in todày's paper, Kendall. It is called "Poor Judgement ".
Harry. I guess you really admire and respect Stalin, Mussolini, Ádolph H, Castro, Saddam Hussein Hirohito and too many others to mention.
