Thankfully, the anti-science propaganda campaign surrounding man-made climate change seems to have lost some of its effect.

Are you seeing storm clouds on the horizon? Two recent studies suggest that the latest anti-science campaign is following its forerunners--the propaganda campaigns attempting to refute science that tobacco causes cancer, that CFC's caused the hole in the ozone layer, and so on—into oblivion. Global warming denial seems to have climbed to a peak in 2010, and global warming acceptance is now climbing. This bodes well for rational public policy.

The only remedy I have found is high velocity lead, preferably 00 buck if at a range over 50 yards or so.

And lastly something for those folks to think about.

They want total religious freedom. Ok. But I hope they understand that it won't just be their religion that gets total freedom.

That guy that ran the Ten Commandments statue down and took a leak on it....if he declared the desecration of opposing religions and their personal property to be a religious freedom of his...? What do you do about that.

If religious sentiment can circumvent our laws then things are going to get messy.

But who am I kidding? Its only the Christians who will have their religious freedom protected right?

Then they pull out the persecution card. Stating that their religious freedoms are being stamped out.

While also stating that this nation is solely a Christians Nation then taking issue with Muslims supposedly wanting to instill Sharia Law on this country...ignoring they want their own religious laws influencing every facet of this nation. Which in a sense is them wanting to institute their own "Sharia Law".

Its so very hilarious.

I also have to point out that this extreme view that the right possesses of the left is of their own doing.

When a group of people tell themselves repeatedly that the others across the aisle are the enemy and are out to get them....things get really bent out of shape.

And the sad thing is there is no assuaging their fears. The mere act of trying to calm them down gets them wound up even more.

Thats part of why I laugh when they accuse the left of using scare tactics. Apparently they can't see the scare tactics being used on their own kind.

Also Fox gives plenty of reasons for them to be hated. Fox News may be responsible for the right becoming so unreasonable and rigid.

Its a fact they lie and spread misinformation. Which the righties lap up like thirsty dogs.

Fox News also caters heavily to the rights victim syndrome.

That story I linked to showed that pretty well.

" Sure they have all the alphabet stations but more people watch FOX news than any other and they cannot stand it"

The real truth is that the method of news consumption between the two prevalent political demographics is different. Conservatives have a less diverse group of news services that they consume from. Also they are more likely to rely on more traditional methods of getting that news than any other group. Like TV and newspapers.

Which would tend to skew the results in their favor when more of them get their news from the TV than say where liberals get theirs from.

In other words Fox aint on the top because they are the best(in fact I don't think they are on the top anymore).

Liberals get their news from a wide variety of sources. Especially the internet.

I have a kinda sly fox, in the neighborhood, that would like to guard my chicken house. Fortunately, I have two sly dogs that aren't letting that happen.Soon, when that pelt is prime, I'll let that red devil have a chance at the henhouse. And that's the truth. (:
