Thankfully, the anti-science propaganda campaign surrounding man-made climate change seems to have lost some of its effect.

Are you seeing storm clouds on the horizon? Two recent studies suggest that the latest anti-science campaign is following its forerunners--the propaganda campaigns attempting to refute science that tobacco causes cancer, that CFC's caused the hole in the ozone layer, and so on—into oblivion. Global warming denial seems to have climbed to a peak in 2010, and global warming acceptance is now climbing. This bodes well for rational public policy.

I notice many here—Kendall being a notable exception--seem to condemn all the members of a perceived group for the sins of one member.

Harry Reid, Al Gore, and Rush Limbaugh don’t post here. We do.

Stereotyping leads to unproductive discourse and fractured relationships. We could learn more if we regarded one another as well-meaning individuals with good intentions instead of representatives of some group we consider evil.

It's not run, run, run. It's submit, submit, submit. Give all knowing Big Government CONTROL over all things and life will be wonderful, even though they admit nothing will help. It we just throw more money at it they know it will be better. The Lefts only known solution.

Don't worry, be happy. Mother Earth has a tendency to self-correct herself when things get bad. Something that might happen 50-100 years out leaves plenty of time for Earth to do what it takes to balance out. Wars, pestilence, disease, whatever may remove enough of the overpopulation that it won't be the major problem some feel that it. BTW: Nice save Kendall.

Run, run, run !!!!!!

Actually, an earthquake will get you sooner. And more credibly. Man is so puny and thinks he is so powerful.

Just keep in mind that the ice packs/glaciers are proven to be melting at alarming rates,...that sea levels,at these rates will raise 15"-20" in 50-100 yrs. Also, there is the exodus of humanity from the coastal regions worldwide, and borders will be insignificant.Whatever the cause, the result will be catastrophic. This is the greatest challenge to mankind,.... evah!!!!

Oops, I meant, "We should also keep in mind that the majority of the Left are NOT accurately represented by Obama, Pelosi or Reid."

If the majority of the Left is accurately represented by Obama, Pelosi or Reid, then the majority of the Left IS Far Left. These people don't represent main stream, middle of the road values. Never have, never will.

Let's keep in mind that the majority of the Right are not defined by the Tea Party or those who are racist.

We should also keep in mind that the majority of the Left is accurately represented by Obama, Pelosi or Reid.

It will be great when we finally quit letting the Far Left and Far Right define our politics.

It is not so bad that obama has a foreign sounding name. His foreign ideas nd disregard for the American constitution are the problems.

Myth you never specifically say what bad things Christians do. And if they do not follow the leadership of Christ, they are not Christians, anyway.

The Tea Party. Best "grassroots" movement money can buy!

They even clean up after themselves! Huk yuck!

mythravere

Yep those were the good O'l days.

Guess we shouldn't have elected a black president with a foreign sounding name.

Yes I just brought race into this. Know why?

Because its true!

I mean its not a coincidence at all that the same time we elected our first black President the rightwingers of this nation just then decided to go all crazy and turn into the party of NO?

Funny thing is that rise of the Tea Party began at the same time too.

Funny funny funny!

Remember the days when fluorocarbons were suspect of contributing to the deterioration of the ozone layer,.... the days when corporate politics were more 'reasonable', and that situation was addressed and eliminated?

The thing is that I don't blame Christians and the right for every conceivable problem I have.

What I like to do though is point out the glaring hypocrisy of those on the right and of Christians.

I can't really help it when I am provided with volumes of hypocritical actions by those same people to point out.

Tiredofit I'd really like for you to explain where I showed myself to be a taker.

Most certainly in your mind I am a taker but given my opinions and your opinions in your eyes I couldn't be anything else but that could I?

Its the old if I aint with you then I am against you routine.

My parents taught me to respect and like to read and be informed. Even if sometimes it might not be too interesting. We subscribe to the local paper, and buy one daily wherever we travel. I wish you good luck, myth.
