Thankfully, the anti-science propaganda campaign surrounding man-made climate change seems to have lost some of its effect.

Are you seeing storm clouds on the horizon? Two recent studies suggest that the latest anti-science campaign is following its forerunners--the propaganda campaigns attempting to refute science that tobacco causes cancer, that CFC's caused the hole in the ozone layer, and so on—into oblivion. Global warming denial seems to have climbed to a peak in 2010, and global warming acceptance is now climbing. This bodes well for rational public policy.

"And of course this government has our children's future in mind right? They don't seem worried about the economic disaster they are creating for our children now do they? That one is real and preventable but they won't address it"

God you're an idiot.

Think for just one minute what will happen in the future with climate change whether you believe or not.

You need to think "what if they are right".

The effects of climate change at their very worst will upset this world in totality.

You are ******* 100,000 percent correct when you say nothing can be proven.

Nothing can be proven to you!

You refuse to acknowledge any and all facts laid on the table.

You DENY all of it regardless of the truth.

You are a dishonest debater on this issue.

No what you are is little man who is so biased against others that nothing they say can ever be right.

Your ideology is so rigid that it has destroyed your ability to be reasoned with.

A human being that can't be reasoned with is a horrible thing to become.

I believe it because I find the facts compelling.

But I understand. Because I don't believe as you do that automatically make me a fool. Also because I don't share the same political bent as you that also makes me fool.

So people unlike you are frauds and fools.

Ok I get it. LOL!

Goodness this is hilarious.

" You want to believe that you have the power to alter climate and have some power in an otherwise meaningless life."

I don't want to believe anything. I just acknowledge humanity has power in numbers.

And my life has meaning. I try to go through life in a decent manner. I work hard. I am honest. I try to help others out if I can.

I fully believe that what you put into this world is what you will get out of it.

Thats what gives my life meaning.

I just don't have a need for their be something after death.

"Wrong, you believe in global warming because you are easily fooled and on the left."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Right here is the proof that your objections to this issue are ideological and political in nature.

Its bias plain and simple.

You reject man made climate change because you view it as a cause from across the aisle.

Boy oh boy. Thats a corrupt way of living.

You say fear is the reason I believe in climate change.

Why would I let the fear of climate change control me when I don't let the fear of eternal damnation control me?

Which god is in charge of all things Tiredofit?

You speak of fear being used to sway people to the side of those who tout climate change.

But yet you fail to realize that fear of eternal torture in a fiery pit is the main thing that keeps the majority of people from questioning the validity of god.

No it's not. Math is a tool of science.

"Oh geez lack of hurricanes is climate change, cold weather is global warming,"

What is one of the requirements of an Atlantic Hurricane? Warm waters yes? But if the Gulf Stream's flow is altered by the melting of the Arctic Ice caps, does it not stand to reason that could effect hurricanes?

Regional cold weather can be an effect from global factors as overall warming. Is it not reasonable that the jet streams that goes across the world and effect weather patterns would be effected by increase temps?

"If co2 caused the to warm then one would expect warming over the last 16 years.."

Your knowledge on climate change is quite limited isn't it Tired? No one, not one person, has put the CO2 levels as the one and only factor for climate change.

You also seem to have a mental block when it comes to the years prior to 17 years ago and back. You do realize that the study of climate change and global warming is older than 2 decades right?

Like Heartland honcho Joe Bast said, “…the scientific debate is of enormous frustration for us.”

Ithink,

The allocation of scarce water resources has nothing to do with causing a drought. A drought happen when little or no precipitation occurs.

You proved my point, Tiredofit. Because you can't address the points I made, you get frustrated and start with the name-calling.

Posted 198 days ago.

California's drought is caused by the bleeding hearts bleeding over a pathetic "minnow". If only we humans could be that important.

Those who claim there has been no warming in 16 years either don't use elementary statistical analysis.

Politifact rated Patrick Moore’s statement that “the earth has not warmed in 17 years” and found it “mostly false.”

ww w.politifact.co m/punditfact/statements/2014/mar/17/patrick-moore/climate-change-skeptic-patrick-moore-says-earth-ha/

For at least 3 reasons, Tiredofit’s statement isn’t true. First, 1998 was an outlier year with a strong El Nino. In discussing trends, statisticians who want to be truthful don’t pick outliers for the baseline. Second, both 2005 and 2010 were warmer than 1998. Third, the first decade of the 20th century was the warmest on record.

Those who feel frustrated in arguments often employ pejoratives like “imbecile” and “short bus” and “fool.” Frankly, it reveals more about their characters than the characters of those whom they disparage.

"So you admit you don't have the first clue and no one can say what will happen yet you want action????"

Never admitted anything.

I don't want action. There's nothing we can do about it in my opinion except be flexible and adapt accordingly.
