Thankfully, the anti-science propaganda campaign surrounding man-made climate change seems to have lost some of its effect.

Are you seeing storm clouds on the horizon? Two recent studies suggest that the latest anti-science campaign is following its forerunners--the propaganda campaigns attempting to refute science that tobacco causes cancer, that CFC's caused the hole in the ozone layer, and so on—into oblivion. Global warming denial seems to have climbed to a peak in 2010, and global warming acceptance is now climbing. This bodes well for rational public policy.

What is this obsession with the word climate? Climate is made up of weather. Climate means weather. This cold weather will be averaged in and called climate.

The wackos are running out of new terms to use when the old ones are proved wrong.

Wrong doesn't mean " poor" though. Al Gore's predictions for 5 years in the future were proved wrong, but he is still rolling in money. You remember Al, the democrat politician's son, who always left their black housekeeper in the hot car when they dined in restaurants. Yep those same type of democrats who call conservatives "racist". Like Red Fred.

Seriously though. Arguing what you do. Its just a petty political game that you play.

Oh and as for the evidence. Its there you just will not acknowledge it.

Par for the course for dishonest phucks like yourself.

Those cold temps that are inbound are a result of weather.

Bitterly cold temperatures blowing into the Midwest and Northeast in the coming days are likely to set records

By the way Harry how is the weather where you live?

The WEATHER in the MOV may be at record lows today, but the earth’s CLIMATE is experiencing a long warming trend.

“The global average surface temperature rose 0.6 to 0.9 degrees Celsius (1.1 to 1.6° F) between 1906 and 2005, and the rate of temperature increase has nearly doubled in the last 50 years.”

we are experiencing record colds but I realize that means the planet is warming SARCSASIM for those who do not recognize it

If we accept climate science, but reject political agendas tied to it and decide it’s an engineering problem, we can thrive.

Look at it this way: If we can find a practical way to remove greenhouse gases from the atmosphere, we can burn fossil fuels. In doing so, we would rob the leftists of their only weapon—fear

Some are doing just that. Two guys have discovered how to turn atmospheric carbon into plastic without putting more carbon into the air than they remove. Their present technology can do very little to solve our problem. But it’s a start.

They already operate “… two factories that take methane captured from dairy farms and use it to make…plastic...”

“’I wish I had been smart enough to figure this out,’ says William Dowd, former global director of industrial biotech research and development at Dow Chemical.”

Now that’s the kind of thinking we need.

We shouldn’t expect Tiredofit to consider the work of climate scientists. He has already informed us that he doesn’t consider climate science a part of the discussion. He wrote, “it’s a political agenda, not a scientific discussion.”

However, Tiredofit is right when he points to a “political agenda.” Some leftists would use the work of climate scientists to shape the world. And he’s right—we should be wary of these people. Nevertheless, I feel these leftists don’t seriously threaten us because I don’t think they have power relative to we who resist their political agenda.

I must correct what I wrote before, “It’s not a political problem. It’s an engineering problem with an engineering solution.” After further reflection, I realize I was wrong. It’s both a political agenda and a scientific discussion.

"THATS WHY WE HIDE THE DECLINE"

Who is "we"?

Posted 232 days ago.

Tiredofit

I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I do not believe that the funding in question has made any measurable amount of climate change scientists skew their information or evidence. OF COURSE NOT< THATS WHY WE HIDE THE DECLINE>

As far as websites or new articles on the topic, credible information again should include scientists specializing in Climatology.

Polling and petitions should always be scrutinized in these arguments.

I am open to any credible scientific source for information. Such sources on the topic we are discussing should include the research and findings of actual climatologists and not those that have doctorates in other fields. I mean, who cares what a Doctor in British Literature thinks about climate change..right?

Kendall, what sources do you look at that don't derive funding from the IPCC or UN or Some other enviromarxist organization.

That article you cited didn't say anything about if global warming is or is not happening. Just that the ice melt of that peticular area was not due to anthropogenic global warming but climate variability.
