Thankfully, the anti-science propaganda campaign surrounding man-made climate change seems to have lost some of its effect.

Are you seeing storm clouds on the horizon? Two recent studies suggest that the latest anti-science campaign is following its forerunners--the propaganda campaigns attempting to refute science that tobacco causes cancer, that CFC's caused the hole in the ozone layer, and so on—into oblivion. Global warming denial seems to have climbed to a peak in 2010, and global warming acceptance is now climbing. This bodes well for rational public policy.

Care to shoot holes in those previous posts I made? Of course not. That would require you using your grey matter.

Sorry sport but you aint going to trap me in an asinine argument about pointless drivel like you did Harry.

Either start putting down the facts about why the science is wrong or stop posting on this topic.

And oh of course I know you say whatever you want...but the more you talk the more you are cementing the fact that you are beaten on this issue.

Last time I checked there has been no conclusive evidence that the Christian god even exists.

If the preachers have some proof to back their claims up...well then that might make a believer out of me.

Its just so silly to me to even consider for one second that given the breadth of existence that we are the center of it.

I'm sure a civilization of people isolated say on an Island would think they are only ones on too given how big the world around them would feel.

Is Global Warming a Hoax? By Jack Kelly - April 10, 2013 A quote from the article.

Between 1993 and 2012, the U.S. government spent between $140 billion and $150 billion on "climate change" studies, according to the Government Accountability Office and the Congressional Research Service.

This loot didn't go to skeptics. Mr. Marcott et. al. weren't the first to massage data to keep the grant money coming. But what's been spent on studies of dubious merit is a pittance compared to subsidies, tax credits and mandates for "alternative" energy -- $90 billion in President Barack Obama's 2009 stimulus bill alone.

97 percent of preachers who are actively giving sermons and reading the bible say God is real, there you have it, the experts in the field all agree Myth, you are going to he77

Oh yea. The way our oceans are going. Its going to be good for you if you're a jellyfish.

mythravere

Heck in some places like off the coast of Japan..fisherman have to deal with massive hordes of jellyfish getting in their nets.

fixed.

Now people make think heat..big deal. Better than an Ice age. That'd be correct but. Plants and animals more often than not have a narrow range of what is considered a survivable environment for them.

Change it too much and they die..in some cases they evolve.

Heat isn't the only problem. The chemical makeup of the oceans are changing too. Becoming more acidic.

Heck in some places like off the coast of Japan..they have to deal with massive hordes of jellyfish getting in their nets.

Some animals will thrive on a warmer planet.

"It’s believed that plate tectonics on Venus stopped billions of years ago. And without plate tectonics burying carbon deep inside the planet, it was able to build up in the atmosphere. The carbon dioxide built up to the point that any oceans on Venus boiled away. And then the Sun’s solar wind carried the hydrogen atoms away from Venus, making it impossible to ever make liquid water again. The concentration of carbon dioxide just kept increasing until it was all in the atmosphere."

A excerpt from that article.

Our climate is a lot like a soda. Change the components that it consists of and you change the flavor right?

Well if we change the composition of the gases that comprise our atmosphere then that might change things right?

If any of thats wrong please point out why.

Even though I know the party this is directed will not.

Before we started using all that fuel where was the carbon contained within?

The ground right? LOL!

So since we use and we have been doing so for quite sometime in massive massive quantities..we've put a lot carbon up into the atmosphere. Right?

Say tell me again why is Venus so hot.

Knowing that and following the logic...if we increase the level of co2 (the same stuff that traps heat on Venus) in the atmosphere we might just well cause the temperature of this planet to increase right?

Because I know how dramatic people like Tiredofit can be let me say that I am not saying that the we are going to make this planet like vensus.

Posted 193 days ago.

mythravere

Aaah screw it I'll answer that. 90 some percent of Venus's atmosphere is comprised of Co2.

Now lets follow a train of logical thought.

What happens when we burn fossil fuels or anything carbon based? In addition to to other emissions Co2/CO is released right? I think we can agree on that.

What are fossil fuels? Pretty much carbon. Since we know that if we burn it that in turn will release that stored carbon in the air we can say that we're reintroducing carbon back into the atmosphere.

Looks right to me.

Tell us Tiredofit what makes the atmosphere of Venus so hot?

"As the climate models prove time and again to be false"

Show us where they are false.

Oh my oh my indoctrinate.

Speaking of indoctrination. Down in Texas they got charter schools interjecting religious teachings of the Christian variety into the science curriculum...sowing doubt and calling things into question that shouldn't be questioned because there is proof backing the science up.

Yep no indoctrination there at all...lol!

And yes we all know how you are trying to indoctrinate the young with your polar bear bs.

Counter climate movement? Lets just call it reality. As the climate models prove time and again to be false, people will wake up to the realization that climate changes and those changes are as natural as the rising sun

Posted 193 days ago.

harryanderson

Climate change disbelief is, indeed, rising.

And that illustrates the current effectiveness of the propaganda campaign waged by the counter climate change movement.

However, that propaganda campaign will lose its effectiveness. The following two key groups refuse to be hoodwinked by the counter climate change movement:

1. The scientists who have published on climate change. Among those scientists most published in peer-reviewed journals and most cited, 97% agree with the tenets of the International Panel on Climate Change.

2. The young. Just a small minority of voters between 18 and 34 don’t believe climate change is happening.

Without these two groups, the counter climate change movement’s propaganda campaign will fade.

mythravere, regarding dr. spencer and your questioning of his potential bias on this subject, it may be of benefit to take a few moments to read his article about satellite and climate models. his research results are scientific and non-political in nature. i think you will admit that quite a bit of the current blame in any temperature difference we experience is greatly weighted toward the human caused blame by many liberal minded folks with various degrees of interest for themselves. as i have stated before, it is hard for politicians, scientists, activists and business interests to leach money out of the earth for her various cycles of climate change that we do not like...or appreciate.

The thing is my mind can be changed.

Evidence? I previously denied it.

All I need is to see the facts.
