Thankfully, the anti-science propaganda campaign surrounding man-made climate change seems to have lost some of its effect.

Are you seeing storm clouds on the horizon? Two recent studies suggest that the latest anti-science campaign is following its forerunners--the propaganda campaigns attempting to refute science that tobacco causes cancer, that CFC's caused the hole in the ozone layer, and so on—into oblivion. Global warming denial seems to have climbed to a peak in 2010, and global warming acceptance is now climbing. This bodes well for rational public policy.

"but I CAN prove it was not manmade co2"

You can prove something was "NOT" the cause of something?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Oh my gosh you are a card Tired. You rant on and on for multiple pages saying you cannot prove a negative and then you say something stupid like that.

"Ok where is the proof?"

I refer you back to pages 40-225 of this thread. You'll easily see them where you tried to deflect the evidence by saying it's all political like Louisiana state representative Lenar Whitney thinks it is as well.

Much like global warming , this isn't going away by you burying your head up your rump !

@Harry- I agree...there are so many positives about reducing our need on fossil fuels in general. The long term pros for reducing our use on coal and oil far outweigh short term pros of relying on them.

Sometimes it seems like this all or nothing mentality with these arguments. I don't think any rational person that accepts man effects the climate actually expects the US to sudenly stop all coal production the the nation. That would be dumb.

"Nope never claimed I did"

Sooo...when you said it was just part of the natural cycle, you was speaking out you *ss?

Doesn't sound like you were being intellectually responsible.

Yes and it's been provided.

My livelihood depends on burning fossil fuel, and I'm not panicky over it.

We needn't panic over this debate. As we move forward, we'll be reducing our use of fossil fuels. Even 2/3 of those who classify themselves as Republicans or Republican-leaning independents agree that we should, so that's almost certain to happen.

Global warming isn't the number one reason why Republicans feel this way, however. 48% list reducing dependence on foreign oil as the top reason. The second most-listed reason for reducing our use of fossil fuels was to "save resources for our children and grandchildren." And that's exactly the response one should expect from conservatives.

*******environment.yale.edu/climate-communication/files/Republican_Views_on_Climate_Change.pdf

I'd say the only people getting desperate about this are those who profit from fossil fuels.

Here's the point: Even those for whom global warming isn't an important issue favor reducing our use of fossil fuels, and they have very good reasons for doing so.

Tiredofit do you have proof that the warming of this planet is strictly caused by natural phenomenon?

Posted 47 days ago.

mythravere

And its in the previous pages on these forums.

You want it there it is. Go read through for that info.

I myself will not mention those facts until you show the facts that make you right.

If you are right then there has to be facts that back you up. But you won't mention them.

All I am going to do is sit back and watch you make a fool of yourself.

We've laid that proof out many times before as I have SAID MANY TIMES BEFORE.

That proof of ours that we laid out IS what we believe.

Its the same facts that you rejoice in repeatedly rejecting and denying and/or ignoring.

I think most researchers do their work because they think that they may make a difference and have some scruples ! Not all could be as republisized like , oh lets say Bob McDonnell, a perfect example of a fine upstanding Christian republicanism ! !

"Thats why this forum is up to 222 pages of posts as of right now."

Actually, it would probably be less than 50 pages but the other 150+ pages is Tired being in denial.
