Thankfully, the anti-science propaganda campaign surrounding man-made climate change seems to have lost some of its effect.

Are you seeing storm clouds on the horizon? Two recent studies suggest that the latest anti-science campaign is following its forerunners--the propaganda campaigns attempting to refute science that tobacco causes cancer, that CFC's caused the hole in the ozone layer, and so on—into oblivion. Global warming denial seems to have climbed to a peak in 2010, and global warming acceptance is now climbing. This bodes well for rational public policy.

@Harry- you know Tired won't accept that. It doesn't fall into his view of the world.

He'll probably say it's all political and the govt is making NASA say those things.

Of course ignoring the times that he used NASA for his own arguments.

He won't give an alternative explanation for why the temps are going up, he'll simple say what he believes is not causing it and smile stupidly like he accomplished something.

"what was the rate 12000 years ago and where did you find tha data"

Oh Tired, have you gathered your info on what didn't cause something to happen thousands of years ago yet?

We would love to see how you have proven a negative :)

Again, I cite scientific testimony as evidence.

"Scientists note that there are two new and different twists to today's changing climate: (1) The globe is warming at a faster rate than it ever has before; and (2) Humans are the main reason Earth is warming."

Tired..is this your style of debate....just posting partial phrases to bury the fact you have never offered any scientific or literary proof for your position?

Kendall78

"as long as I don't respond"

The point of debating is to exchange ideas. With you, intelligent converse is impossible. You do not discuss, you gibber.

"the best experts money can buy"

I don't believe the vast majority of climate scientists have lied in order to get government grants.

Another form of solid evidence is statistics. And the statistics show that the earth has warmed at an unprecedented rate since mankind began increasing the amount of CO2 into the atmosphere.

Speaking of evidence, Tiredofit: Plenty of evidence has been provided here.

Expert testimony is solid evidence. The vast majority of the experts testify that anthropogenic CO2 is warming the planet.

You testify that anthropogenic CO2 isn't warming the planet.

I choose to believe the experts instead of you. It's that simple.

"show proof to those that might be reading this if not for me"

Does that mean you won't respond in any way to the evidence?

Why repeat what I said while I made fun of you? It hardly shows me to being atheist. I really do hope you drop off your ignorance.

Ok. Showing proof is a two way street.

I'll show proof if you will show proof that your position is right.

If you are honestly wanting to have this debate then it should be no problem for you to produce that evidence.

If you don't then that just further demonstrates that you aren't in this to find and disseminate understanding.

We haven't expressed beliefs in the way you are implying. We also haven't expressed feelings.

We have shared what we BELIEVE to be the facts that support the truth that we believe in.

Sorry, Tiredofit,

I won't be lured into your game of childish insults.

A majority of Republicans say we should reduce our use of fossil fuels, a very large majority of the experts in the field accept the science, and at least one great conservative free-market fix has been proposed. That's enough for me.

If it's not enough for you, so be it. It's a free country. I'm okay with that.

Please continue to post though. You are doing a good job of demonstrating your unreasonableness and hypocrisy on here.

Why offer scientific proof to someone who has already said it's not a scientific argument?

Posted 48 days ago.

mythravere

Now you are deflecting..AND..projecting.

Boy you take an all of the above approach to you brand of dickery don't you?

No facts for you!

Posted 48 days ago.

mythravere

Show you one undeniable fact? LOL! Impossible since every fact about this issue is deniable to you.

I'll say it again. You will never admit any fact we put on table is right because you can not allow us to be right.

"various other single sentence twitter like phrases to stroke his ego with."

Yep..called that one :)

"They are atheists, at least Kendall and MYTH. They reject God"

I am? I do? Wrong on both but that goes with Tired stroking that limp ego of his.

Posted 48 days ago.

Kendall78

Well..another few pages of Tired being lazy and not looking up inforamtion that was provided for him. Very sad.

I am certain he will continue to rant, call names, imply that people are running away and various other single sentence twitter like phrases to stroke his ego with. See you all a little later :)

"Just one boy."

Mr. Jackson....that obsession of yours..it's so sick. *shakes head*

How about you offer proof to your statements. That might be a better idea.
