Thankfully, the anti-science propaganda campaign surrounding man-made climate change seems to have lost some of its effect.

Are you seeing storm clouds on the horizon? Two recent studies suggest that the latest anti-science campaign is following its forerunners--the propaganda campaigns attempting to refute science that tobacco causes cancer, that CFC's caused the hole in the ozone layer, and so on—into oblivion. Global warming denial seems to have climbed to a peak in 2010, and global warming acceptance is now climbing. This bodes well for rational public policy.

OOPS theres that darn study again ! The dependence on fossil fuel energy sources since the industrial revolution has undoubtedly shaped economic prosperity for the developed world. However, an unfortunate by-product of fossil fuel combustion is the emission of carbon dioxide (CO2), an important greenhouse gas that is known to influence long-term climatic variations through its ability to absorb infra-red radiation.

Human emissions of CO2 have resulted in atmospheric levels higher than any period over the last 20 million years. The continued emission of CO2 will lead to widespread climate change related impacts. ~~Climate Change Research Centre (CCRC) UNSW Australia, Sydney NSW 2052 Australia All I advocate is there IS research that says man has and will have a role in climate change ! Between this research and the Maldives going under water there seems to be a problem !

Here’s what I like about solar and wind power: they can be decentralized and deployed by almost anybody.

When we rely on large power plants owned by far-off governments or industrial cartels, we’re dependent on them, and less free.

Decentralized power is an issue of liberty.

I'm glad Tiredofit mentioned that some have a socialist solution to climate change.

We conservatives need to realize the danger in socialists solutions, and push for free-market solutions.

I'm glad Tiredofit is thinking about solutions. That's progress.

Just the latest "outrage " from Faux !

Well , while bad at least they weren't dumping ton of co2 into the air !

Posted 65 days ago.

To clarify...The vile messes are made by the liberals for others to clean up.

Posted 65 days ago.

It is so revealing of who they really are. Everywhere the climate nuts get together, they leave mounds of trash to litter up the environment they claim to care about. Just a bunch of dope heads. Robert F Kennedy,Jr... Yuk !

Conservatives have to clean up their vile messes. So who really loves the environment? Not the liberals.

Funny thing is , over on the times forum he started using the derogatory term "fluffer" and nobody knew what the heck he was talking about ! Well once looked up it stands as a beacon of the type of "person" he is !Only a perverted mind would ever know what that was !

Here's the thing about Tiredofit.

When he encounters other people and views them through the lens of his highly politicized dogma anyone that has an opinion that he strongly disagrees with is looked at as a threat.

When that happens he automatically assigns them a label. Socialists.

That being done he no longer has to play fair anymore. Because the assigning of a label is an act of demonization and once demonized the no respect or other acts of civility need apply to them.

All that said and done. Its a win at any costs battle. Lie,cheat, misrepresent, demonization are all going to be used to destroy credibility, cast doubt and undermine the other person.

We've seen all those tactics deployed by Tiredofit. Whether he realizes it or not.

But maybe there is something in what the socialists are saying.

I mean if you really look at what capitalism has done to this state you can only conclude that this state and its people were given the raw end of the deal.

Just consider the amount of coal pulled from our mountains...consider how much wealth that represents...then look at how impoverished the areas where the mining took place are today.

Capitalists took so much and gave back so little.
