Thankfully, the anti-science propaganda campaign surrounding man-made climate change seems to have lost some of its effect.

Are you seeing storm clouds on the horizon? Two recent studies suggest that the latest anti-science campaign is following its forerunners--the propaganda campaigns attempting to refute science that tobacco causes cancer, that CFC's caused the hole in the ozone layer, and so on—into oblivion. Global warming denial seems to have climbed to a peak in 2010, and global warming acceptance is now climbing. This bodes well for rational public policy.

I will say this I seriously doubt you would even have the ability to admit a personal flaw of yourself.

Such is the height of your arrogance.

What you don't know is that when I switched from the climate change denier group to the one that believes it is an issue is this.

For the most part I view taking care of climate change and our energy woes as one of those issue that if you take care of one it will take care of the other.

The energy issue is my main reason for being on the side of the what the scientists are saying.

In all actuality I am not criticising him. In fact I agree with him in that pressure can be applied to scientists. I just don't automatically assume that the pressure has affected the whole group of climate scientists. You on the other hand do.

We have taken billions of tons of carbon and moved it from the ground and put it into the atmosphere.

That will affect our atmosphere and the climate along with it.

Is it going to be as bad as they say. I really don't know.

What I do know is that the earths population is growing exponentially.

Thats a lot of mouths to feed and society is going to need every increasing amounts of energy to service the needs of those people.

Fossil fuels are finite. Sure we may have large amounts of it left...but fossil fuels are prone to volatility in prices and availability especially in the case of oil.

A diverse energy portfolio is in my opinion key to dealing with humanities needs in the future.

Did you not ask us to tell you that you DIDN'T have a valid point? :)

"There will be breaks in the warming at times.

Hmmm. If co2 is the cause and it continues to rise, why would there be "breaks". at times?"

Sorry to clarify. There really isn't a break in the warming but a shifting of the warming from atmospheric to oceanic warming. Because of those currents that he mentioned.

Well there you go appealing to authority.

Well if he's right. What natural processes are causing phenomenon that are indicative of a warming atmosphere?

If its not man then what is it?
